What Have You Learned While Caregiving?
50 million Americans are providing some form of care to an aging parent or spouse.
And since no two people or experiences are the same, that means that there is a heck of a lot of know-how floating out there among you – know-how that could help make another person’s journey somewhat easier.
So I’m inviting all of you – newbies and seasoned caregivers alike – to share what you’ve learned while caregiving.
It can be one thought or piece of advice, or a number of insights that you’ve gained through caregiving. I’ll then include your sage words of wisdom along with your name and town in an upcoming blog post.
(If you’d like to remain anonymous, that is absolutely fine! Just say so in your e-mail.)
All submissions can be e-mailed to me at:

Not sure where to start? Just picture yourself in a room full of people who are starting out on their caregiving paths. Maybe their parent has fallen or their spouse has just been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. You’ve been where they are – perhaps a few years or even just a few months ago. What do you think they should know? What do you wish you had known?
You are the experts and nothing is more powerful than one caregiver providing assistance to another.
